Sony PMW-350

Imagine an EX1 with a full size, shoulder mount body and a 2/3 inch lens, but still with the convenience of SXS memory card recording. Plus an EX3 style color viewfinder.

This is Sony's first full size camera with solid state recording and is set to become an industry standard.

The 350 features HD or SD recording, slo-mo recording and an image flip capability. At F12 sensitivity it becomes the best camera in low light in our hire range.

Sony PMW-EX1R

The new revised version of the popular EX1 camera. The EX1R resolves some of the annoying features of the original camera as well as adding some new capability.

New features include:

A dedicated button for slo-mo operation
A momentary button for auto iris next to the zoom rocker
A vastly improved color viewfinder
SD recording to DVCAM format as well as the standard HD
Better output layout
HDMI output
New low noise sensors

There are also new 32GB memory cards giving a total recording time of 3 hrs 20mins on board

 AJA KiPro  HD/SD recorder

This device records SDI, HDMI or component signals from any camera or vision switcher. It can record in HD or SD regardless of the source and output in HD or SD regardless of the source or the recording format.

It's primary role is to record the very high data rate SDI output of cameras such as the EX1R or the 350 and allow capture of beautiful quality images rivalling HDCAM. The top data rate is 220MB/s compared with the 30MB/s native recording format of the EX1R etc. The files are recorded in Apple ProRes, so they are ready to edit or copy from the removable USB hard drive. Record durations up to 8 hours are possible. It also acts as a general purpose HD/SD video recorder or converter.

Teleprompter

This prompter adapts to any camera and tripod combination and comes supplied with a Mac laptop. Load up your script or type and edit as you go with the dedicated software. Speed control is via the laptop mouse.

Required mains power for the screen and the laptop (or an inverter). Easy to operate.
